Doesn't this Sound D-Lish?

From the Grumpy Bunny blog

Crab Croissants
Feed Me Seymour •

It was probably the BEST meal we ever had at college - they served us brunch one Sunday. OMGosh! I had forgotten about it, but another college friend remembered all the ingredients. Even Dad liked them. Hubster and I served them one year for a holiday breakfast. The next year when we went to their house for Thanksgiving - Dad ran through the ingredients to make sure he had everything - he did. Yummy!

Heat oven to universal cooking temperature (350)

Croissants - how many - up to you and depending on size of rolls and crowd to be fed…
Crab meat - we use the “fake” stuff but you could probably use real/fresh
Shredded cheese (I prefer mild cheddar or colby)
Diced up onion - maybe a quarter or half - depending size of onion and if you like onion...we do!

Cut the croissants in half

Spread out the meat, cheese, and onion on the bottoms. Put the lids back on.

I line a baking sheet with foil in case any cheese escapes.

Heat for about 20 minutes or until the cheese melts.

Enjoy!

Found this funny post at the Downtown Chick Chat

I drove by a church last night on the way home and I got a real kick out of their sign out front….

Happy Holidays
Just Kidding!
Merry Christmas

I really wish I had my camera! I loved it. And I love to see a church with a sense of humor.

Happy Birthday Minnesota Stacy

Back in the day, she was a Minnesota Vikings cheerleader and wanted to be a Rockette.

Now she's cruisin' the streets of Milwaukee with a toddler in tow.

Life is turning out pretty good for the Viking Lass.

Googling Lance Geselbracht

I ran into Denny Dalton at lunch today and spent the time reminiscing about the Jesuit High school alumni. Whether it's a result of fine parentage or an all boys school I don't know, but these were guys who even when you were only 16, you knew they were going to turn out to be something special. Smart, funny and quite sweet.

Denny and I chatted about how his good pal Lance Geselbracht is still traveling around the world playing rugby. Wonder if he saw my post about George Bush and Yale Rugby?

So I googled Lance and ran across Mark Heringer's blog with photos of the Old Aggie Touring Side Rugby Club in all their glory. One of the photos looked familiar and I dug out my old photo box.

Some things never change. Thirty years have passed. They're standing on the same pitch with the same grins today. Doug Moore, Lance Geselbracht and John Wallen still have the same posture. I don't recall the other guys names.

Twelve Chicks of Christmas - Kay Starr

The Man With The Bag"

Old Mr. Kringle is soon gonna jingle
The bells that'll tingle all your troubles away
Everybody's waiting for the man with the bag
'Cause Christmas is coming again
He's got a sleigh full, it's not gonna stay full
Stuff that he's droppin' every stop of the way
Everybody's waiting for the man with the bag
'Cause Christmas is coming again

He'll be here
With the answer to the prayers that you made through the year
You'll get yours
If you've done everything you should extra special good
He'll make this December the one you'll remember
The best and the merriest you ever did have
Everybody's waitin' for the man with the bag
'Cause Christmas is coming again

Old Mr. Kringle is soon gonna jingle
All the bells that'll tingle all your troubles away
Everybody's waitin' for the man with the bag
'Cause Christmas is here again

He's got a sleigh full, and it's not gonna stay full
Got stuff that he's dropping every stop of the way
Everybody's waiting for the man with the bag
'Cause Christmas is here again

He'll be here
With the answer to the prayers that you made through the year
You'll get yours
If you've done everything you should extra special good
He'll make this December the one you'll remember
The best and the merriest you ever did have
Everybody's waitin,' they're all congregating
Waitin' for the man with the bag

Better watch out now!

Ultra-Cool Irish Lass

I just got myself a flocked white aluminum Christmas Tree.

Dear Santa

Will you please bring me a color wheel?

I've been very very good all year.

Love -- The Irish Lass.

Twelve Chicks of Christmas

Nancy Wilson

The Christmas Waltz
-Sammy Kahn

Frosted window panes
Candles gleaming inside
Painted candy canes on the tree
Santas on his way
He's filled his sleigh with things
Things for you and for me

Its that time of year
When the world fall in love
Every song you hear seems to say
"Merry Christmas, May your New Year Dreams come true"
And this song of mine
In three-quarter time
Wishes you and yours
The same thing too

Its that time of year
When the world fall in love
Every song you hear seems to say
"Merry Christmas, May your New Year Dreams come true"
And this song of mine
In three-quarter time
Wishes you and yours
The same thing too

while in columbus, wilson came to know and perform with famed jazz musician, cannonball adderley, who introduced her to her future manager, john levy. wilson signed her first solo recording contract with capitol records, shortly thereafter, joining a roster that already included the likes of nat "king" cole, frank sinatra and peggy lee. wilson's first two singles with capitol—"like in love" and the adderley collaboration "save your love for me"—scored big with the public and set wilson on her way to establishing a devoted and enduring fan base. the following years would see wilson surpass labelmates such as the beach boys to become capitol's second highest selling artist (the beatles held the number one spot) and their highest selling female artist. in 1964, wilson won a grammy for "how glad am i".

Twelve Chicks of Christmas

Julie London sings

Warm December
I'll keep you warm in December
Warm when the cold breezes blow
My arms so lovin', a kind of oven
To melt the sleet and snow

This heart that glows like an ember
Longs to be loved just by you
If it could be so, then you'd keep me so
Warm in December, too
